The Pennsylvania Rush... already the excitement is building.  The PA Rush was founded in February 2007.  Please read on to find out more about the Rush, and why we're so excited about what it offers our players, and to soccer in Eastern PA and Region I.

The Pennsylvania Rush was formerly known as the Lenape Valley Soccer Club.  Based in Central Bucks County Pennsylvania (suburban Philadelphia) our club is home to 1,100 players from a wide geographic area spanning throughout the Philadelphia Metropolitan area.  Lenape Valley always had a proud tradition as a community-based club with strong roots, a dedicated leadership, and an exceptional financial base.  Moreover, for years, the club has boasted a large intramural program, along with a solid "travel" program.  But still, our volunteer leadership built a consensus around the fact that our club held the potential to evolve into more.

So, in recent years, our club, like so many others around it, sought and offered alternative methods, practices, and protocols that would enhance the platform we offered to all of our players.  We offered a Player development Program which remains an integral part of our plan today.  We rolled out a standardized training program for our youngest ages and developed their love of the game and their technique.  We trained our coaches.  And we sought to developp a model that would last, to support our community and all of our players for years to come.

Then we doscovered the Rush Way.  It was all that we'd wanted to build from scratch, but hadn't.  And it was so much more.

In February 2007, our Board of Directors unanimously voted to become the Pennsylvania Rush.  We have partnered with The Rush to offer a platform to Pennsylvania soccer players that we believe has never before existed in this area.  Here's what's different:  The Rush Way caters to all players, at all ages and skill levels.  Sure, there are elite and premier teams throughout Region I, and many of the clubs right here in Eastern PA compete at a national level, year-in and year-out.  And, there are numerous clubs in Eastern PA that support thriving recreational programs for both genders.  But we believe there are few clubs, if any, that support both missions and have the organizational structure, management, and philosophy that would produce success.  Our partnership with Rush Soccer will allow us to pursue exactly that mission.

The Pennsylvania Rush will now develop in partnership with the leaders of Rush Soccer to ensure that all of our players get exactly the experience from the game of soccer that they seek.
