Bio Chris Mercier

• Coach in the Lenape Valley intramural organization for the past 3 years and has coached a youth travel team in Maryland in the past.
• Currently coaching and acting commissioner in the Lenape Valley softball organization and has experience coordinating and managing responsibilities for multiple youth teams
• Played youth soccer in Maryland since the age of 8, including several travel teams in the Bowie Soccer Association.
• Played High School soccer for DeMatha H.S., served as captain in senior year where team won the Metropolitan (Md, Va, DC) Championship.  Accolades included 1^st Team All Met, 1^st Team All County, 1^st Team All State, and 2^nd Team All South.
• Played four years as a starter for Division 1 Colleges; 2 with Delaware & 2 with Univ of Maryland.  Selected to All Conference team both junior and senior years.
• Currently playing in the Lenape Valley adult league and for various indoor teams in the winter.
• Currently has “D” coaching certification and will complete “C” certification class this winter.
